Deer Run Golf Course at Kawartha Lakes: The 3,045-yard par 45 course at Deer Run is a beautiful, relaxing place for golf — whether you’re an advanced golfer or a hobby golfer. The course has 12 holes and also has a restaurant on-site for a delicious meal post-golf game.

Lindsay Golf & Country Club: The rolling greenways and hills at the Lindsay Country Club is a stunning location to play golf, and the course is full of everything from sand traps to small and large ponds. The course also has five tees, which makes it possible to enjoy the course no matter your skill level, and it is one of those golf courses that strikes a balance between expert and recreational.

Black Diamond Golf Club: Nestled in Pontypool, the Black Diamond club is a gem of a golf club in the Lakes. The course is 7,000 yards and has five tees for all skill levels. Our favourite part of the course, though, is the huge amount of elevation change and mounds that give you a fun game and beautiful views along the way.

Byrnell Golf Club: The Byrnell Golf Club has called the Kawarthas home for almost 100 years — since the 1930’s — and is a beautifully green executive golf course. The course is a walk-on and has nine challenging holes for all skill levels — and is incredibly community-focused, making it fun for everyone.

Peterborough Golf & Country Club: The Peterborough Golf & Country Club is also a longstanding Kawarthas fixture and has been around since the 1930s. The par 71 course has 18 holes, and you can spend an afternoon on one of the most beautiful courses in the area — featuring beautiful views of the Trent Canal.

When it comes to the Kawarthas, we know more than just golf — we know stunning luxury custom builds, too. Are you ready to live closer to some of the best golf around? We have you covered at Gilbert + Burke — so let’s set up a call today.
